Developing and Maintaining a Design-Tech Portfolio: A Guide for Theatre, Film & TV

This book is a practical guide to aid in the process of creating, developing and presenting winning theatrical Theatre/TV/Film Design/Technology portfolios. The reader will be able to develop a showcase that can be used to apply for graduate school, jobs in the field, and for promotional purposes. The book will consist of four main parts with various sections. Each section will provide comprehensive guidelines covering a wide range of aspects from the beginner’s portfolio to the advanced portfolio. The chapters will also include lists of Do’s and Don’ts provided by experts in the different design/tech fields. There will also be an appendix at the end that will give the reader comprehensive lists of professional organizations for networking, organization that offer portfolio-based scholarships, companies that hired design/tech freelancers, etceteras.
